I have lead the design on multiple events for the Related Companies for many years, including the Grand Opening of Hudson Yards which was a multi-day extravaganza that kicked off with an event for 17,000 in the Shops and Restaurants as well as a dedication of the public square the following day. The dedication ceremony featured a performance by Andra Day and dancers from Alvin Ailey, was emceed by Anderson Cooper and featured an array of notable New Yorkers from Carmelo Anthony to Big Bird. Beyond these opening celebrations, Overland has designed and produced a wide range of events for Related including outdoor screening series, retail displays and the grand re-opening of Wollman Rink.
