Glamour’s Women of the Year Awards have been a celebration of the achievements of women that has been a beloved event for over 20 years. Featuring remarkable women like Hillary Clinton, Nicole Kidman, Malala Yousafzai, and Maya Angelou, it is a tent pole event for Condé Nast and generates millions of impressions for the brand annually. Three years ago, a summit was added to further expand the reach of the property and allow readers to experience the brand in a more personal way.
In 2018 the two events were merged into one space where the look changed overnight from the summit to awards. I conceived of and led the team in all of the design of the space from the sets, to environmental graphics, sponsor build outs and custom furniture in the common spaces.
