This private wedding, designed for a couple in Michigan, featured three distinct areas. The cocktail space was a glorious, warm, autumnal environment featuring an abundance of local fall foliage. The custom dinner tent featured architecturally layered walls and complex topiary designs that brought a modern sensibility to classical elements. Following dinner, as a surprise, the guests decamped to an afterparty in a bespoke immersive environment that evoked the newlywed couple’s love for Greece where they planned to honeymoon. A charming Greek village was built into the back wall of the space and over the course of the evening the “moon” crossed the sky above the festivities.
